Description

The Collegiate L-Screen with Hood is a full-size l screen baseball coaches rely on during batting practice to protect the BP pitcher from line drives, ground balls, and pop flies. This l screen baseball model adds an integrated overhead hood to the standard L-shaped design, providing top-down protection that a standard L-screen without a hood does not offer.

The L-shaped cutout allows the BP pitcher to throw from behind the screen while keeping most of their body protected by the main panel. The cutout is sized for a natural overhand delivery so the pitcher can throw full-motion pitches without adjusting their mechanics to work around the screen. The hood extends over the top of the main panel and catches pop flies, foul tips, and high line drives that would otherwise arc over a standard flat-panel screen and hit the pitcher from above.

This combination of front protection, side coverage from the L-shape, and overhead coverage from the hood makes this one of the most complete single-screen protection options available for baseball batting practice.
