Description

The Pro L-Screen Replacement Net is a direct replacement net manufactured for the Baseball L-Screen and Pro L-Screen Steel 8′ x 8′ used during batting practice on baseball and softball fields. When the original L-screen net develops holes, significant stretching, or weakened areas from repeated batted ball impacts, this replacement net restores full protective capability.

L-screen nets wear faster than flat-panel screen nets because the area immediately surrounding the pitcher’s cutout absorbs a disproportionate share of impacts. Batters hitting line drives back through the middle frequently hit the net just above or to either side of the cutout opening, concentrating wear in a small zone. Once holes develop in this critical area, the screen no longer provides reliable protection for the pitcher. This replacement net matches the factory dimensions of the L-screen frame, including the cutout geometry, and attaches using the same hardware configuration as the original — making the swap straightforward with no frame modifications needed.
