The 10′ W x 6′ L All Steel Drag Mat is the largest size in the all-steel drag mat lineup, designed for efficient infield grooming on full-size baseball and softball diamonds. At 10 feet wide, this mat covers a broad swath of the infield in each pass, making it well suited for high school, collegiate, and municipal facilities that need to prepare fields on tight schedules between games and practices.

All-steel drag mats work by using their weight and the flat profile of interlocking steel links to smooth and level loose infield dirt after it has been scarified with a nail drag or otherwise disturbed by cleat traffic. The steel links conform to minor undulations in the surface while redistributing material from high spots into low areas, producing a uniform playing surface. Unlike fabric or rubber drag mats, all-steel mats do not absorb water, which means they perform consistently in damp conditions and do not become heavier as moisture accumulates.

The mat connects to an ATV, utility vehicle, or riding mower via a tow chain or hitch connection. The steel link construction is durable enough for daily use over the course of multiple seasons with no maintenance required beyond occasional inspection for link damage.
