The rib protector addresses one of the most common unprotected zones in standard football equipment setups – the area between the bottom edge of the shoulder pads and the waistline where the rib cage is exposed during contact. Multi-density foam absorbs energy from direct hits, lateral compression during pile situations, and the repeated body contact that linemen and linebackers absorb on every play. The attachment design keeps the protector positioned correctly during play without restricting torso rotation for throwing, catching, or tackling movements.

Pair with the RAZOR Back Plate or Varsity Back Plate for comprehensive torso protection. For youth athletes, see the Z-Cool Youth Rib Protector. Browse all football gear accessories.
