Collegiate Pitchers Protector Screen

Description

The Collegiate Pitchers Protector Screen is a flat-panel protective screen positioned in front of the pitcher during batting practice to block line drives hit back through the middle. Unlike an L-screen that has a cutout section for delivering pitches, this protector screen provides a continuous wall of netting that the pitcher stands behind, delivering pitches over or around the screen depending on the drill setup.

This screen is designed for collegiate-level play where batted ball exit velocities create a serious injury risk for anyone standing near the pitcher’s mound during live hitting. The frame and netting are rated for the repeated impact of hard-hit baseballs. The screen is commonly used in combination with other protective equipment during multi-station batting practice, where coaches and players may be throwing from various positions around the diamond.

The collegiate-grade construction uses materials that hold up to the higher practice volume and ball velocities typical of college programs compared to youth or recreational leagues. The screen is portable and can be repositioned between drill stations and fields.
