Description

Standard Hoops are lightweight activity hoops for PE fitness circuits, coordination exercises, agility drills, hula hoop instruction, and creative movement activities. Available in 24-inch, 30-inch, and 36-inch diameters to accommodate different age groups, activity types, and curriculum requirements.

Standard hoop construction uses a lightweight plastic tubing that maintains its circular shape under normal PE use conditions. The hoops are light enough for students of all ages to handle, carry, and manipulate during activities, while rigid enough to hold their shape when placed on the ground as targets, boundaries, or movement stations. The smooth outer surface prevents snagging on clothing and allows the hoop to rotate freely around the body during hula hoop activities.

In PE curriculum applications, standard hoops serve as targets for throwing accuracy games, boundary markers for movement stations, agility obstacles for footwork drills, and rhythm tools for creative dance and movement sequences. The 36-inch diameter is the preferred size for hula hoop instruction, where the slower rotation speed gives beginning students more time to develop technique. The 30-inch diameter is the most versatile all-purpose size. The 24-inch diameter excels as personal space markers and small-target challenges.
