While compatible with most other shoulder pad brands, the RAZOR Back Plate’s attachment points and contour are purpose-built to align with RAZOR shoulder pad geometry for a seamless, gap-free fit.

The large sizing accommodates varsity and collegiate linemen, linebackers, tight ends, and other larger-framed athletes who need maximum rear coverage area. The plate’s width and length dimensions extend across the full lumbar region and wrap slightly around the sides of the lower torso, providing protection against rear impacts, oblique-angle hits, and the lateral compression forces that occur in pile situations and gang tackles.
