Description

The Gear Pro-Tec Z-Cool neck roll provides cervical spine support and neck protection with integrated Z-Cool phase-change temperature regulation technology. Designed for football players at all levels, this neck roll attaches to the rear of the shoulder pad system to limit excessive neck extension and lateral flexion during contact, keeping the neck area cooler than conventional foam neck rolls.

The Z-Cool material actively manages heat at the neck contact surface, which is a primary heat-dissipation zone where conventional foam neck rolls trap and insulate body heat. By maintaining a cooler surface temperature, Z-Cool neck rolls provide the protective benefits of limiting neck hyperextension without the overheating that causes many players to remove standard neck rolls during hot-weather practices.

The neck roll limits the range of motion that puts the cervical spine at risk during head-on collisions and tackles where the head is driven backward or to the side. Screws and T-nuts for mounting are not included and must be sourced separately.
