Description

The Monster Drag Mat is an oversized flexible drag mat built for grooming large baseball and softball infield areas in fewer passes. The extra-wide and extra-long dimensions provide substantially more ground coverage per pass than standard drag mats, which translates to faster field preparation times — a critical factor for facilities maintaining multiple diamonds on a daily basis or operating back-to-back tournament games on tight schedules.

The mat is constructed from heavy-duty woven material with a flexible profile that conforms to the natural contours of the infield surface. As it is pulled across the dirt, the mat smooths cleat marks, fills in minor depressions, and redistributes loose material from high spots into low areas. The large contact area and weight of the Monster Drag Mat provide more consistent finishing pressure across the surface compared to lighter, smaller mats that can skip over problem areas.

The Monster Drag Mat is a finishing tool, not a scarification tool. For best results on compacted or damaged infields, use a nail drag or field groomer first to loosen the surface, then follow with the Monster Drag Mat to smooth and finish. The mat attaches to any ATV, utility vehicle, or riding mower via a standard tow chain or hitch connection.
