Volleyball standards are the structural foundation of any indoor court setup and represent the largest capital investment in a volleyball equipment budget. The primary specification variables are post construction, tensioning system, and floor sleeve compatibility. Alumagoal Heavyweight Standards are a permanent installation system using a weighted base and upright post designed for consistent tension across a full season of competition and practice use. The base-only configuration is available for programs replacing worn uprights while retaining functional existing base hardware.
The Heavy Weighted Center Volleyball Standard provides mid-court net support for facilities running multiple courts across a wide gymnasium floor, where a single tensioned net cable spanning the full court width creates excessive sag without a center support point. Programs installing new standards should confirm floor sleeve diameter and post spacing against their existing gymnasium sleeve layout before ordering to ensure compatibility.
Safety foam standard pads wrap the exposed post from floor to net height, reducing injury risk from player contact with the upright during play. Padded standards are required for competition at most scholastic levels under NFHS rules and are strongly recommended for any facility running youth programs regardless of competitive level. Heavy-duty pads use high-density foam construction with a durable vinyl cover that withstands repeated contact and standard gym cleaning procedures. Pad sizing should be confirmed against the specific post diameter before ordering.
Volleyball nets are available across a full range of construction grades from recreational to competition specification. Economy and recreational nets are appropriate for physical education programs, open recreation, and youth leagues where net longevity under moderate use is the primary consideration. Mid-range nets such as the Pro Power and Sport 32' models provide reinforced top tape and cable construction suited for regular interscholastic competition. The Ultimate and Master 32' nets represent the upper tier of construction quality, with heavier cord diameter, reinforced sidebands, and top tape built for the repeated tensioning cycles of a full varsity season.
All nets on this page are 32 feet in length, which is the standard for regulation indoor volleyball courts. Net height is set by the standards rather than the net itself — confirm top tape attachment compatibility with your existing post system before purchasing a replacement net.
Volleyball antennas attach to the net at the sideline boundary markers and extend vertically above the net to define the legal crossing zone for the ball. Antennas are required for official competition under NFHS and USA Volleyball rules. They are sold as a pair and should be replaced when the flexible rod becomes permanently bent or the attachment sleeve no longer holds a secure position on the net cable.
