The weighted 18 oz, 20' diameter mound and base protectors are the original, triple patented, virtually windproof field covers that are used by thousands of Little Leagues, High Schools, Colleges and the Minor and Major Leagues.  How are these baseball covers virtually windproof?  The secret is the galvanized steel chain in its entire perimeter hem that is precisely engineered to the correct ratio of circumference ballast versus fabric weighting to keep wind from getting under at any point.  It is such a great product there are literally thousands in use today!

The mound and base protectors are made of industrial grade 18 oz. vinyl with UV and mildew inhibitors added for outdoor durability.
